11 small paintings cut from a screen.   Painting of various Giga - caricature imagery, one of the oldest traditions of painting (precursor to modern anime and other cartoons).  Th e images are of otsu-e themes and other myths and stories.  Painted by Kubota Beisen (1852-1906) who was a pictorial journalist and nihonga style painter during the Meiji era.   He was a student of Suzuki Hyakunen.  Sold as a collection.
